Diet Vs Exercise Episode 4: Fat Loss Diet Versus Best Cardio Workout to Burn Belly Fat

CLICK HERE for a FREE WORKOUT!! www.turbulencetraining.com Here is another episode in diet vs. exercise. Today in the diet corner we once again have Brad Pilon, this time he will be snacking on 2 espresso brownies each weighing in at around 300 calories and he’ll wash that down with a 700 calorie Starbucks frappacino. Representing the exercise corner, I’m going to perform a series of 1-armed kettlebell swings with a 35 pound kettlebell. As Pilon gulps down the frappacino, I am working very hard at a pace neither I nor any other individuals in the gym would typically go at. The point here is that individuals can mindlessly consume calories before and after meals and it not even register with them. Now that Brad has finished off both of his snacks and consumed nearly 1400 calories, I have completed 60 snatches of the KB swings and burned about 50 calories. Although the kettlebell swings did burn a lot of calories, in a short amount of time, it pales in comparison to the calories Pilon took in. The results speak for themselves and t is very apparent that diet once again wins the battle in diet vs. exercise. This is precisely why individuals who go to the gym and work really hard for an hour are not going to burn fat if they are consuming so many calories mindlessly. You just can’t out train a bad diet. 1. this video series is GREAT! I work with Herbalife International and all this information lines up with what we teach. Thanks guys.

  2. @ fat-crusher . com there is a great video that shows how to lose weight

  3. This is the best way you could possibly show anybody how crappy the average American diet is and why people struggle to lose weight without targeting there diets properly. GREAT SERIES !!!

  4. I’ve wanted to lose weight for so long, and I never though I’d find the answer.
I found the website called fatburner. cz. cc and i’ve lost 40lbs! It really works. :)

  5. Burn That belly fat easily with our new Diet Supple ment which is all natural ingridegents, starts seeing results faster and easier ! Check out my profile for more info.

  6. oh alright he said at the end of the video snatches. still form was off making the snatch easier so.

  7. lol and another thing… errr he’s not really doing an exercise, on snatches you don’t use that much momentum, you go from straight hang to overhead on kb swings you don’t bend your arm and you use both arms so…. lol

  8. well first off lol kettlebell swings are more effective two handed. Second ask a crossfitter you CAN keep them up I can do 1.5 pood kettlebell swings for 30+ reps straight then rest for less than a minute and do a little less. its all in conditioning.

  9. i think he’s just trying to make a point..
At the same time enjoying his food
    lol~~~ But he’s gonna get a bit
chunky from making too many of
these videos.. But atleast its a good
    video!

  10. Is Brad trying to gain weight?? I mean…he gets to eat all those foods…

  11. mcdonalds doesn’t tasete like food to me any more and when i do have it i have chips no salt chiken burger no mayo only lettuce and a still water instead of the usual coke and this is once every 2 weeks and i dont even miss the junk food i only have it if there isnt another choice like being at work and all they do in the canteen is cheese meal which is even worse.

  12. A medium sized cheeseburger could have as little as 320 calories. He said the coffee and brownie made 1100 calories. So you could eat a cheeseburger everyday and not gain weight.

  13. No one wants you to starve. Just don’t eat garbage. You could eat three cheeseburgers to make that one coffee and brownie.

  14. I would think it’s mostly people that don’t really care about health and wheight that mindlessly would consume that kind of “meal” as a snack every day. Or at least I hope so. It’s sad to see so many people not caring for their health and well-being..

  15. How about a series on the relative calorie/fat burning value of various types of workouts–Tabata sprints, HIIT, steady state cardio, weight lifting, olympic lifts, cross training, etc.

  16. Inspirational ! Your message was very clear and entertaining. Thank you. Now I will start again !

  17. I use to eat cereal in th morning fruit in the afternoon and then whatever i wanted in the evening after my exercise and I lost 1st in 3 weeks. so as long as you keep to your exercising you can still burn fat as long as you stick to it everyday. Don’t let everyone fear you into starving yourself.

  18. You are pretty passionate in your statement. But you are INCORRECT. Typical exercise will burn some of both carbs and fat, but the carb calories get used first. You have to limit your total calorie intake including carbs not just fat.

    The bottom line is:
Weight Loss = Total Calorie Intake < Total Calories Burned
